Soil-forward. Always.

The 2026 Bansi Sustainability Report, in plain numbers — what we've changed, what we've spent, and what we still owe the land.

Our Pillars

Four commitments. One quiet metric: regeneration over extraction.

Every Bansi sustainability programme rolls up to a single question — does this leave the soil, the maker, and the table better than we found them?

01

Pay The Land

18–22% above market floor paid to contracted estates. 1.5% of annual revenue ring-fenced for soil-regeneration grants.

02

Reduce The Pack

62% of our packaging is FSC-certified glassine, kraft or recycled glass. Plastic eliminated from primary packaging by Q3 2026.

03

Audit The Chain

Annual third-party audits across all tier-1 suppliers — labour, water and pesticide use reported publicly.

04

Carry The Maker

Every QR code on every pack credits the farmer, the blender, and the cellar. Heritage shouldn't be anonymous.

2026 Report Card

The numbers we publish, audited and unrounded.

Bureau Veritas verified the data below in March 2026. Full report available on request.

Farmer Premium

21.4%

Weighted-average premium paid above the 2025 commodity floor across 240 supplier contracts.

Plastic Reduction

−68%

Reduction in primary-pack plastic mass since 2021 baseline. Target: 100% elimination by Q3 2026.

Soil Grants Disbursed

$1.42M

Cumulative grants funding cover-cropping, biochar trials and water-table restoration since 2024.

Renewable Energy

94%

Share of electricity at the Pune blending studio sourced from on-site solar + grid PPAs.

Water per Litre

2.6L

Production water used per litre of beverage output — down from 4.1L in 2022.

Living Wage

100%

Of full-time employees and tier-1 supplier workers earn at or above the local Anker Living Wage.

The Soil-Forward Initiative

One percent doesn't move soil. Half a million dollars does.

In 2024 we launched the Soil-Forward Initiative — a multi-year commitment to ring-fence 1.5% of annual revenue for direct soil-restoration grants. Funds flow straight to participating farms for cover-crop seed, biochar production, drip irrigation, and water-table monitoring.

By March 2026 the programme had funded 47 farms across Karnataka, Kerala, Assam and Meghalaya. Independent soil-carbon panels at the first cohort of farms recorded an average 18.7% increase in topsoil organic matter across two harvest cycles.
